Urgent Appointment Request

Open 8am to 11am, Monday to Friday

We have a Duty Team available every day for acute problems. Appointments can be booked over the phone or in person. You will be assessed by the team and offered an on-the-day appointment if needed. Although an appointment time is given, this is only a guide, and there may be a wait if the doctor has an emergency to deal with.

If you are unable to see any appointments in the app, please contact the surgery on 01329 833 121 and a receptionist will help you.

 

Administration Requests

Open 8am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday

Administration requests are not urgent and will usually receive a response within a few working days. Please do not put any details about symptoms or clinical queries.

You can request sick notes, test results queries, letters, or other administration tasks.

Request a Home Visit

If possible, please try to telephone the reception before 10:30am.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice. House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the surgery.

 

Change or Cancel an Appointment

Please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment to someone else.

To cancel your appointment:

  1. Use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)

  3. Reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message
 

Out of Hours

Enhanced Access

Patients who are registered at this practice can now book an appointment to see a GP or nurse on weekday evenings (after 6:30pm) or at the weekends (on Saturday and Sunday).  Wickham Surgery offers appointments until 7pm on Tuesdays and 8:30am to 12pm on Saturdays.  Other appointments will either take place at Badger Farm Surgery, Botley Health Centre or Andover War Memorial Hospital.  Talk to the practice receptionist to find out more or book an appointment.
